Juara Bay on the east coast of Tioman Island is Little Planets’ home.
As a provider of high quality outdoor education programs we could not ask for a more suitable location. Clean, coral sand beaches, clear turquoise waters, fresh water rivers, and lush primary rainforest make Juara a tropical paradise playground. Gazetted as a marine park and nature reserve, our secluded location offers an abundance of undisturbed environments filled with an amazing range of flora and fauna, often endemic to Tioman Island. This make Juara an ideal venue for providing our clients with an excellent, diverse and exciting Outdoor Education experience.
From jungle trekking to diving, kayaking to camping, snorkelling to raft building, the environments available to us here provide us with the platform for a rich and rewarding array of adventure activities.
With very close ties to the Juara Turtle Project, our very own community based sustainable agriculture project and Reefcheck Malaysia coral reef survey programs we are able to integrate genuine environmental and service projects in to any trip.
Kampung Juara remains a small traditional Malay village. Over the last decade, Little Planet has become genuinely involved with the community on many levels. Our relationship with various families and stakeholders in the village forms the foundation for our community based programs and provides us with the opportunity to share real cultural experiences with all of our campers.
With its diversity of natural environments, service opportunities, environmental initiatives and cultural heritage, Juara is undoubtedly one of SE Asia’s premier outdoor education locations!
